  • 2 cups all-purpose flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2 tablespoons sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • \u00bd teaspoon baking soda<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • \u00bd teaspoon salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 egg<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • \u00bd cup water<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2 heaping tablespoons of Saco Buttermilk Powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2 tablespoon oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • \u00bd cup raisins or dried currants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    1. Preheat oven to 350\u00b0 F. Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. In a large bowl, mix together all dry ingredients except raisins. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, water, buttermilk powder, and oil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in egg mixture. Add the raisins or currants and stir a few times, just until the dough comes together. Dough should be kind of dry, so you may need to bring the dough together using your hands. If it is too dry to stick together, add a few drops of water. Do not overwork the dough.
