I dog-eared it especially during Andrew&#8217;s high school years, when I pushed sugar to get him to bring friends back to our house. I recently told him how proud I was when his friend Santiago singled these out as his favorite cookie. Andrew laughed, saying they all were happy with whatever I put out on the plate.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">La La Land O Lakes Old-World Raspberry Bars<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Crumb Mix<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2\u00a0<sup>1<\/sup>\/<sub>4<\/sub> cups flour<\/li>\n<li>1 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 cup chopped pecans<\/li>\n<li>1 cup Land O Lakes\u00ae Butter, softened<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Filling<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3\/<sub>4<\/sub> cup raspberry preserves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oven to 350\u00b0F. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over edges. Grease foil.<\/li>\n<li>Combine all crumb mixture ingredients in bowl at low speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture is crumbly, about 2-3 minutes.\u00a0Reserve 1 1\/2 cups crumb mixture.*<\/li>\n<li>Press remaining crumb mixture on bottom of pan.
